The Checklist Injector™ Have you ever been flying and had the feeling you have forgotten something? Has Center ever called you just as you were in the middle of a checklist or worse yet, switching tanks? CFI's have always emphasized the importance of checklists. But we also are taught to keep our heads out of the cockpit. Looking down at a written checklist while trying to perform a task is very distracting. Now you can keep your eyes out of the cockpit and flying the aircraft. The Checklist Injector™ has been designed to integrate pilot recorded checklists into the aircraft. It is designed to be small, intuitive, and reliable. Cockpit space is at a premium Using state of the art, ultra-miniature, double-sided surface mounted technology (along with flash memory) the most adaptable size was created. The Checklist Injector™ is not much larger than a postage stamp but can hold up to five minutes of audio. All operations are controlled by a single rocker switch. With aircraft that have no panel space, there is a remote version that can be installed just about anywhere including the yoke! No battery power is required to keep the voice stored. Flash memory technology is capable of holding recorded data for over 100 years. Here are the Panel Mount Controls: Left Side of the Switch 1.Press to turn on 2.Press & release repeatedly to select a checklist ("LST") 3.Press & hold until beep to select first emergency checklist ("EMG") 4.Press & continue to hold to raise volume Right Side of the Switch 1.Press & release to acknowledge an item ("CHK") 2.Press & hold until beep to defer an item ("DFR") 3.Press & continue to hold to lower the volume 4.Continue to hold to go to standby (off)
