The NC 2210 Tester is optimized for ramp testing of navigation and communication equipment. The unit provides test signals for marker beacons, communication, localizer, glide slope, and VOR. Also included, is a wide band comm receiver with agc to permit evaluation of comm transmitter AM fidelity.
For ILS testing, the localizer and glide slope may be simultaneously operated by selecting the localizer function and pressing the "TEST" button. 90/150 delete capability is provided. To provide added vesatility, a "Demod" signal is provided which facilitates bench testing of indicators.
The battery charger is capable of charging the battery while the unit is being operated on the bench. The unit will operate approximately 1 hour on a fully charged battery. For battery protection, the unit is provided with an automatic shut-off after 5 minutes of operation.
